We start with a Producer who knows the local Mayor personally and can at any moment have doors opened to enhance your experience. This Producer will also be our translator when we are shooting. And we will have a driver who knows precisely where to park and how to get us right inside those medieval towns that are open only to locals.
Next, we will have two photographic assistants who are photographers in their own right. In fact they could teach their own course in Adobe Photoshop. They know our equipment inside and out. They are Ron's assistants and it didn't take much persuasion to get them to come to Italy for a few weeks.
We will have tripods, so leave yours at home. We have strobe lighting and grip equipment in case we want to add some light to our location.
Each student will be expected to have their own Digital SLR, laptop computer and photographic editing software. Digital is best for reviewing work each day but we all love film. So, if you would like to bring any kind of film camera, we have worked with them all and we can teach you how best to use them.
Essentially, we would like you to experience what it is like to be a professional photographer. And for the professional, we have the shoot set up for you already.
