Sometimes people get lucky shots, but at The Umbria Workshop, we like to make our own luck. We want this to be an extraordinary experience. That is why there are 4 crew members and only 10 students. The entire day is structured for success and enjoyment. And each evening you will be rested and ready for the next day of shooting.
    All respected photographers and directors demand the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail. When we arrive at a shoot, the location has been scouted, the perfect time of day has been determined and our producer has ensured that the assistants have all the equipment ready to go. Each of our assistants is a photographer in their own right and they are there to help you.
    Getting "the" shot requires planning and preparation. The equipment we will work with is the best. The vans are chosen for comfort and safety. The hotel is chosen to pamper you each evening after a full day of shooting.
    The opening and closing dinners will be feasts of Umbrian cuisine and during the week we have another dinner planned at a vineyard where we will taste wines that the Umbrian's don't like to share with anyone.
