In the spring, we will explore the towns around Perugia like Corciano, Assisi - home to St. Francis' Basilica, the medieval hill town of Spello with Villa Fedelia and the Renaissance city of Siena is only an hour away making for a great day of shooting.
In the fall, we will explore Todi who's main square was the location for the movie, "The Agony and The Ecstacy", the medieval hill town of Pitigliano, known as "The Little Jerusalem", Deruta with its 500 year old pottery workshops and the Gothic cathedral of Orvieto.
If it rains, we have access to the fully restored villa of Jacopone di Todi and the Villa Fidelia where, if the sun shines, we can also shoot in their impressive gardens. Remember, some of the most beautiful black and white photographs were taken on overcast days. Every week we will shape our itinerary based on the coming weather.
We have plenty of ways for you to return home with a very special portfolio of images.
Though this is the Umbria Workshop, the provinces of Tuscany and Lazio are close neighbors and we will explore the jewels from each of those provinces.
